Olympus PEN E-PL 9 Preview

It seems that Olympus has registered a new camera, under the name code “IM 008” in Russia, but there are only the body and two kit lens versions registered as well.

Many say that the Olympus “IM008” is going to be named PEN E-PL9 and it’s going to replace the E-PL8. Its registered battery is BLS-50 and the camera is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless model.

The new model is going to come with 4K video, a better processor and a longer list of features. Some hope that the new model is going to have a high end Pen body as well.

Most of us expect the new camera to present a stylish and selfie-friendly design, offering a great value for the money you’re going to pay.

As it’s going to be part of the PEN collection, we expect the new camera to give sharp and clear images to the very edges of the images. It’s designed and made for the professional photographs, so you should rely on it in many situations.

The Olympus PEN E-PL 9 is expected to be announced in early 2018.
